Set after Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Bucky is lost, without a purpose and brainwashed within an inch of his life. S.H.I.E.L.D and Hydra have both fallen and without anyone to stop him, Bucky intends to find out who he is - or who he was - before Hydra took away every last inch of him. Steve is left recovering from the catastrophe, but knows that Bucky is still out there, and that Bucky needs his help. Steve will do everything in his power to help his best friend find out who he is again. How far would you go to help your friend recover their mind? How long would you try for? Steve knows it isn't going to be easy, and wants to set Bucky on the road to recovery; but confusion and nostalgia hides around every corner. If Bucky is to find himself once again, Steve is going to have to face some hard truths about how he lost his friend and see him through every step of the way as he recovers, seeing him through the good times, and the bad. They might soon realise that the question "Who am I?" carries so much more than a name and a face.

A cute little Stony fanfic. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are roommates at uni. Tony isn't so happy about sharing a room, but notices there's something up with Steve. But Tony Stark is not supposed to care about others, he has a reputation to uphold. There will be a few bumps along the way, but how can you keep soul mates apart?

In a world where your soulmate's name appears on your wrist as soon as they are born, Steve's wrist has been blank his whole life. While at first he was just waiting, as time went on and there was still no name he kind of accepted that he wasn't going to have a soulmate. He's hopeful but so broken and lonely, and that's just another layer on why he was so desperate to go to war, there'd be no one to miss him. He's of no use to anyone here, so he wanted to go somewhere where he could really make a difference. So, it's no surprise that the first thing Steve notices when he wakes up in the 21st Century isn't the game playing on the radio or the not right recovery room, or any of that.
