I met Conrad Hawkins our final year in medical school at River Valley University and my life hasn't been the same since. *Character Conrad Hawkins from The Resident on FOX. I have chosen to pull dialogue directly from the Pilot and Independence Day because I liked how it fit into the story. Might pull more from other episodes as the story progresses. All the credit to The Resident writers and Matt Czuchry for bringing this character to life.*

I don't know anything about the medical field. I don't own anything or anyone that has anything to do with "The Resident". These fanfiction story is about all of the parts that I didn't like what happened in them and some of them I added.

This story is about Dr. Conrad Hawkins and Nicolette from "The Resident". This what might have happened if Conrad and Nicolette didn't breakup at all and that they were still together, in the first episode of "The Resident".

He considers her to be a good friend and a collegue. But she had developed a crush on him since the first time she saw him. When she found out that she will be working in the same place as with him, she was very excited. But only after coming , she came to know about him and Nic. And she maintained her distance. No one Knows about her feelings except Dr. Mina Okafor. Her fellow surgeon and a Resident. Amy joins hands with her friends and colleagues to cover the darkest and the nasty secrets that's happening in Chastian.

Conrad Hawkins has to contend with a longstanding eye problem which he tries to hide from his friends and colleagues due to his father drumming it into him as a child that illnesses and injuries are proof of weakness. His friends try to teach him otherwise. Their task is made harder however when an old army buddy of Conrads turns up at Chastain.
