That was until Reuben's - her best friend - death. Now 3 months later, faced with a new mysterious quest, Jesse will be more challenged than ever as she faces her inner new found darker desires. Will her friends be able to save her from it? Or will someone she cares differently for be able to?

Its all over. The witherstorm is gone, the command block destroyed, and everything is back to the way it should be. The new order protects the world from everything they can, but when their leader is zapped out of their universe, how will they find their way through the darkness? With Jesse believed dead, it leaves everyone rattled and broken, not knowing what to do. Meanwhile she might not be so far away.

The new order's quest continues in this story! In this sequel to A New Evil, more problems erup around the world, and even in the neather. The order has to split up on jobs, and one doesn't return. Jesse starts to worry, feeling like she can't loose another friend. The real problem is, will they be able to find them in time before something else does?

Jesse is mourning about the loss of her best friend, Reuben. She wakes up in the middle of the night because of nightmares she has of Reuben. Even though she is happy with her new friends, and is proud of her new title as the leader of the order of the stone , she still wishes that the witherstorm never happened. (Cover art not mine)
