A collection of 30 short stories of various genres that has been written around phrases offered by Julia Proud's Twitter followers as challenges. From Dark Fantasy to Teen Fiction, these short stories vary greatly in genre but all aim to entertain and to spark the readers' imagination. www.challengetheproud.com is the official site of this event. Since the voting period has ended, votes have been tallied and out of these 30 short stories, one will be developed into a novel. He keeps her in a cage lined with silver. He is cruel and makes her fight almost to death. She is a runt, but that doesn't mater. Even if the competition is just werewolves who want money, she still has to fight to survive.
