After taking up a job bartending at the Blackwater Saloon he meets a man who claims he's a conman and a gentleman. After getting to know eachother over several different nights the man invites Colt to meet his partner. Colt immediately connects with both of the men so they invite him to join their gang. Those men were Hosea Matthews and Dutch Van Der Linde.
