During third year, Harry makes a rash decision and quits Divination, following in Hermione's footsteps. It turns out to be the best thing that happens to him, as he us quite gifted in the subject.

It's year four for Harry and his friends, and Voldemort has returned with a sinister plot to gain more Death Eater followers through the Triwizard Tournament. There's only one problem: Sirius has put his significant political clout to good use by insisting that an external committee entirely made up of parents oversee the tasks and make sure they are as safe as possible, and that the goblet of fire be altered to allow forfeits, and different school champions be selected for each of the now seven tasks. With Severus risking his life spying on Voldemort once again, Sirius and his friends and allies intend to make the most of the information he gains. The year is not going to be as smooth as everyone wants, though, with an unexpected creature inheritance and new powers for someone, and teenage hormones really messing up the emotions of every one of the trio and their friends. ~~~~~ Book four of my series rewrite, with more tasks and champions as promised. Harry and his friends have survived the first two years of Hogwarts, and fully expect this year to be a peaceful one. We all know that's not going to happen. In this case, two Death Eaters have decided that it's the perfect time to break out of Azkaban to seek out the Dark Lord somewhere in Albania. These two criminals were the cause of anguish for many of Harry's friends, and it's up to him to keep them from losing it completely. Not to mention there's still the whole Horcrux thing, and the Goblins have uncovered an ancient ritual that could pinpoint the remaining portions of Voldy's soul, but they have no Horcruxes at the moment, so they're stuck. ~~~~~ Book three in my series rewrite, and things are changing much more quickly (And successfully at times) than in canon.

The new trio are back for their second year at Hogwarts, and the Chamber is due to be opened soon. Draco has more or less been adopted by Sirius and Remus, and is extremely happy to be a part of a nice, relaxed family. Well... as relaxed as it can get with the ex-Marauders around, anyway. In the meantime, Blaise has felt lonely, being cut off from Draco, so he decides to confront him to try to get his best friend back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The second installment in the series rewrite. After successfully managing to gain custody of Harry, Remus and Sirius have raised Harry well. He knows that he's loved, and well-treated, and he's friends with Ron and Neville. However, a visit to Gringotts on Harry's tenth birthday to get him confirmed as the heir to the Potter and Black Houses proves that Dumbledore has done something awful to Harry, and they realise they must remain cautious of him. This leads us to Harry's very well-known first year at Hogwarts, but this time with Draco, Neville, and Hermione by his side. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Just a note: Most of the relationships will start to happen in the third book. It's my plan to work through all the canon books. This first one starts out echoing canon very closely, but will become quite AU after the first few books. Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived, is saved from the Dursleys, and grows up with the Four Founders of Hogwarts. He is tought by them until he reaches the age of eleven, when he goes back to his own time and is thrown in to a whole new world. I got some of this idea (the 'growing up with the Founders' thing) from another fic-for the life of me I can't remember who it's by, and what it's called, so if you know, please tell me-but the rest I came up with.
