What happens when Kai has a nightmare and can't sleep so he decides to train a bit but what he doesn't know is that someone is watching him. And this someone has been watching him for awhile, but why?

Taking place in season 5 of Ninjago, all seems well and smooth. All lines fitting into destiny's hands. Seemingly a normal turn of event in the Possession chapter. However. One small yet huge turn of character will throw the course of the story, way out of line. Morro finds a new victim to help bring an end to the realm of Ninjago. Burning with hate from the past, and the insatiable desire for the green ninja's power he has returned to take what was taken from him. His victim not being too different from himself... *Warning for swearing, possible themes of mental illness, and violence- likely no more than what's already in the show... I hope.* -- Also the updates for this story will have long intervals bc I have trouble with writing plus I mostly spend time drawing. Might be on hiatus.

The ninja are lost in the woods. They must try to find each other, then find their way back home. While they're working on teamwork, a new evil is working its way into Ninjago one mind wipe at a time. Now they have to save Ninjago and their loved ones. Kai was known to be the reckless one from his team. He was also the hotheaded protective brother to Nya. He hated people who think they can mess with his brothers; Cole, Jay, Zane or even Lloyd. However, when he get attacked on a mission at night, Kai finds himself alone. Broken. Shattered. The ninja find Kai, who has disappeared for a couple of days, in a basement. Kai was injured terribly and does not want to tell anyone what happened to him. Will the ninjas gain Kai's trust? Or will Kai suffer all on his own? This story takes place after season 5, so Nya is a ninja. Also, this is my first fanfiction so i thank you all 4 reading! (HUGE thanks to @Ghostx5 on Tumblr for the cover) Kai was captured by Morro and now Morro is torturing him in many painful ways until his friends find him. Morro leaves the others a message that he has Kai and time is running out to find him! They're not sure where he is but is planning on searching all over Ninjago. Cole nearly saves Kai,he starts to have feelings towards him..... But how would Kai feel for him? (OH GOD PEOPLE ARE STILL READING THIS PIECE OF CRINGE????)
