Inside, everything narrowed. Pressure. Gauze. Hands. Bleeding. IVs. BP still low. He was fighting to stay conscious, and Aspen crouched down close enough for him to hear her over the noise. Spencer wraps the blanket tighter around us causing me to melt into him further. He sweeps my wet hair over my shoulder while I stare out towards the golden sunset. He plants a kiss on my temple before nuzzling his face into my neck. "Thank you," He whispers. I run my fingers through his soft curls, "For what?" "For showing me life doesn't always have to be so serious," He sighs. "I don't know what I did before you," He mutters, almost like it wasn't for me to hear.

After joining the BAU, Isla Rafferty soon learns that fighting crime isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially with Spencer Reid around. [word count: approx. 140,000 words] COMPLETED.

Arabella never meant to fall for him. He's her boss. A single father. A man still carrying the weight of too much loss. But the night Aaron Hotchner calls and asks her to watch his son, something shifts. It starts with Jack-movie nights, soccer games, inside jokes. But somewhere between bedtime stories and quiet cups of coffee, Arabella finds herself drawn into the spaces Hotch keeps guarded. The silences. The glances. The way he looks at her like she's the first steady thing he's allowed himself in years. Their connection is unspoken, fragile, and slow-achingly slow. But some loves aren't born in sparks. Some are built in quiet moments-until they become impossible to ignore. Just this once, she lets herself want more. Just this once, he lets her in. And neither of them is ready for what that means.
