An Octoling awakens deep underground, lost and suffering amnesia. Upon meeting a strange being called Cap'n Cuttlefish, they join forces and embark on a journey to return home, wherever that is. Soon, they encounter an odd telephone who calls the Octoling Test Subject #10,008 and sends him on a journey to the "Promised Land," a utopian world of light that only those who prove themselves worthy may enter. With the captain's support, 10,008, now called Agent 8, begins a quest to prove himself by completing a series of tests within the Deepsea Metro, a facility managed by Kamabo Co., and collecting the four Thangs to build a portal to the Promised Land -- home. Each test requires him to perform a certain skill, and as a reward, he receives memories of his past, piece by piece. Perhaps Agent 8 can prove his worth and make it home. Maybe he can even find himself along the way. But as the shadows of the deep reveal their true nature, he begins to realize that not all is as it seems... and his journey may be nothing more than a trap. ~🎱~ Meanwhile, Delta, AKA Agent 3, awakens far away from home after a sudden ambush during a battle with a strange Octoling boy. In a world entirely foreign to her, she sets off on a quest of her own to find her captain and return home. However, unlike her previous adventures, she cannot do this on her own. She needs help. Thus, with a partially-Sanitized Octoling hostage at her side, Delta sets her course to reunite with her mentor and find a way home... and perhaps kick a certain Octoling boy's rear along the way. She has a solid plan, and nothing will stop her from success... that is, until Kamabo Co. begins interfering with her mission and its CEO decides he has plans for her, too. She's faced armies. She's stopped a tyrant. She's even saved the world. But can she learn to trust her companion, to understand the plight of her so-called enemies, and see the strings pulled by the CEO? Or will this be how she finally falls?

𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘦𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘴, 𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘴... Shadowflight is a young mountain griffin living alone with his father. They were outcasted before he hatched because his mother was discovered to have mated with a lower class griffin instead of the alpha, Lionsbane. They have no hope of acceptance from other flocks, and must live in isolation from all society. Dawnwing is a young upper class female mountain griffin of Eagleheart's flock. She knows she must someday join the life of her mother, fighting as an elite soldier and raising the young of the alpha, but she dreams of freedom, where she can fight for her own causes and have young with whomever she desires. Foxmind is a young arctic griffin with an intelligent mind and a happy life. He already has a partner who will become his mate, he has a wonderful family that he loves dearly (even though his sisters annoy him nearly every day), and he has plans for the future in which he has a family of his own and lives out his life with them at his side. However, life is not as perfect as it seems, and soon his gilden vision may crumble before his eyes. The fates of many are all entwined as these young griffins seek to find their places in the world. Against all odds they need to survive and rescue their flocks and families... but sometimes danger cannot be seen even with sharp griffin eyes. ~ • Cover artwork drawn and colored by Jennifer Ellzey • Volume 1 of the trilogy • Updates are irregular in scheduling How to see my progress in writing: -Look at the table of contents and part titles *writing* =I am writing it at this time *editing* =I have written it and it is awaiting editing * =I am currently editing it no marking =it is either already written and awaiting publication, or I haven't started writing it Happy Reading! :)

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and most of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though there will be several canon characters making appearances throughout the story. You've heard the story about how the NightWings manipulated the War of SandWing Succession, sending assassins and spies to watch over and control the situation for their own benefit. This is the story of one such spy, who was posted in the Kingdom of the Sea to observe the SeaWing army and Blister's forces as they sought victory in the world war. Silverstripe was raised by the Talons of Peace with one purpose in mind: to spy for the Talons in the War of SandWing Succession. Now that she's finally ready to begin her career, she's finding that spying on the SeaWings is even smoother than she anticipated. However, there are also complications that she'd never thought of... complications that could jeopardize her mission and even cost her her life. Will Silverstripe be able to observe the SeaWings from right under their snouts, or will her identity be revealed and her first mission cost her her life? Cover: photographed and designed by me. PS, for the artists out there: if you'd like to create fanart of Silverstripe's story and feel comfortable sharing your artwork, feel free to send it to me, and if you like I'll put it in the Fanart section of "The Secret of Silverstripe" Finally: Don't hesitate to leave any questions/comments/concerns. I'd love some input on my writing, and if you happen to spot some typos or grammer issues in there, please let me know so I can fix it. Happy reading! :)
