Sometimes, even the Wizarding World makes mistakes. Sometimes, even the greatest wizards and brightest witches can be wrong. Perhaps they knew they were wrong. Perhaps they didn't. Harry Potter believed himself to be incapable of love, as he had never remembered having anyone there who really cared for him, and who he could care for back. Until, that is, September 1st 1991. Hermione Granger didn't have any friends at her last school. She was picked on for being smart, and never had any idea what was wrong with her. An outcast, she hoped her next school would open up new opportunities for friendships like no other. She had no idea quite what her next school would be like, and didn't know who it was she would meet on September 1st 1991. True friendship is rare, but true love is rarer. Can this as of yet unfortunate pair find both of these things at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? You hope so. I hope so. Let's just find out. Hogwarts. The place Harry yearned to spend time with his closest friends. Yet, as time passed, it grew harder to keep bonds from crumbling and friendships from falling apart. The world was changing. Voldemort was nearing. Hermione and Harry were falling in love.

Voldemort is gone and the war has finally been won. With a new era, comes new leadership. No longer are Harry and the gang the students, learning all they can from great wizards and witches, they are now the professors themselves. It's time for them to rise to leadership because you can't have any greater teacher than the one who lived the history they will soon be teaching. Follow 'the Boy Who Lived', along with his two best friends and the rest of the new Hogwarts staff, and experience their new world. Everything has changed now, the world is theirs. With so much responsibility on their shoulders, Harry and Hermione may just discover a love much stronger than either of them ever dreamed could exist.

The war had more than taken it's tole on the golden trio, and Harry was worn, tired and filled with sadness and grieving. He felt so much sorrow, and had no idea what to do with it. The Weasley's had taken a month or so to get back to their somewhat normal selves... but not everyone was the same. And you can't after all of the losses that they had dealt with. But Harry feels something heal whenever he is around Hermione. She had always known what to do and what the right thing to say was, and that was one thing that hadn't changed. But he started to get distant to Ginny and gravitate towards Hermione, who seemed to be one of the only people capable of making him happy.

In their 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, shortly after Hermione realises she is smitten with Ron, he begins dating Lavender Brown, and Hermione is devastated. As her best friend, Harry makes a brash decision and tries to help Hermione the only way he knows. The plan is to pretend that they are a couple in hopes that Ron becomes jealous, but the temporary "relationship" quickly gets out of hand. *For the purpose of this story, Voldemort was killed in The Battle of The Department of Mysteries.* started: 2013 finished: 2014

A summer has come and gone since Voldemort was defeated. Hogwarts has been rebuilt. The Golden Trio return to Hogwarts to complete their education. They can all finally lead a normal life. But for Hermione, life is anything but normal. While Harry and Ginny were still going strong, her relationship with Ron hadn't lasted long. Harry knows that things didn't work out with Ron and Hermione. But little does he know that he's the reason why.

Hogwarts is a welcoming place when you've never seen it littered with corpses; when you've never seen the lights fading from a person's eyes, when you've never heard the screams that echoed through the air. Of course, very few of the people there haven't seen it like that. Nightmares wreak havoc among Draco and Hermione, and they're tired of trying to fight the memories off. Couple that with the Triwizard Tournament and you've got a really tiring year ahead of you. The Goblet of Fire, however, has been slightly broken since Harry won the last tournament. And so, with each school in the Great Hall when names are to be chosen, it conjures up the names of two people who did put their names in and the image of one who didn't. And Hermione is that one. From lethifolds to a trip into the Forbidden Forest, the Tournament creates new relationships and rips apart old ones. Nobody feels safe. And with good reason; what lurks in the Forbidden Forest is something that could cause the fall of the wizarding world as we know it.
