An Easter themed Advanceshipping fiction that is actually complete

New region, new challenges and of course, new Pokemon. Ash arrives in Galar, along with his new friend Gou. Ash is, of course, determined to win Galar's Pokemon League. But he doesn't know that his path to that is everything but straightforward. Meanwhile, Serena, after many years in Hoenn, also arrives in Galar, to find inspiration and new ideas to her performances. But what could happen when the roads of our two heroes cross again after a break of many years? I don't own Pokemon or any of these characters (Except for some OCs)

In the canon timeline, Serena is determined to win her first Princess Key at the Dendemille Pokemon Showcase. Her baking skills have paid off after lots of practice and advances to the Freestyle Performance round. A very unnecessary mishap with Jessie happened in which nearly cost Serena the whole performance, but with courage from Ash's determination she modified the dress Valerie gave her and after a well-rehearsed performance she would ultimately win the showcase. How would things play out differently if, despite her best efforts, that mishap really had cost her the performance "just like last time"? Well, it's... a bit complicated.

Kyouka is acting frustrated and distant, and Izuku's not sure what it's all about. He goes to his girlfriend to sort out the issue, and answer a question that he thinks the answer should be obvious.

Ash and the gang has a quest to do in Kalos Region, hearing Kalos Ash remembered a certain promise with Serena before they left 5 years ago but what will happen when Ash finds out that Serena broke their promise? Hair wild and gold, eyes piercing and sharp. She told the tales of love, despite her lack of knowing.
