Emma was put into foster care at the age of 7. She had been floating around for the last 4 years and now she finds herself in the home of Ms. Turner, a cruel and evil woman, and Lucy, the dead girl that is now a living doll.

Follow Maggie, a college student who has devoted her college thesis to the existence of zombies and how to survive them, when the idea of a zombie apocalypse becomes less of an idea and more of a reality. Along the way, Maggie meets characters from the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy video games who all have the same thing in mind as she does: to survive.
