After the guild accidently found out that Natsu is E.N.D. they abandoned him and threated him terribly by bullying him and even beating him. Natsu couldn't do anything against it because he saw them as friends. After some time he fell into darkness and decided to leave the guild and erased his guildmark. After some wandering alone thinking about revenge he runs into Zeref which he knew is his older brother.
