This story is about an eighteen year old girl named Aeris. She never knew her birth parents, besides the fact that they left her on the side of a dirt road. Aeris thinks that they never loved her, but as she grows older, she keeps having these re-occurring dreams that have the same two people in them every single time. A boy and a girl, who seem to be in so much pain, that they call out for Aeris to find them and help them. Aeris is terrified and doesn't know what to do. She can physically feel the girl's pain. And as turns out, she one day sees the person who has been killing her in her dreams: the girl herself.

Dawn keeps her memory loss a secret to avoid unnecessary attention until Robbie Kay, a former boyfriend of her's, notices her acting strangely at times. After it became clear to him that Dawn was experiencing memory loss, he helps her bring them back and in the mean time, tries to recover her lost feelings for him. However, when Dawn starts to find attraction in another man, Robbie finds himself changing into a side of him that he got rid of when he first fell in love with her. As they learn more and more about Dawn's past, they fall closer and closer to something that the old Dawn never plotted to expose herself.
