"I LOVED IT" - Clumsy_weirdo_353 "So your sister likes to get drunk and beat up guys twice her size," Taylor said, her eyes closed. "Yup." A beat. "So you can teleport." "Yup." Another slice of silence. "So you really can fight," she said. "Yup." A single heartbeat. "So you can teleport." "Yup." "Cool. Cool, cool, cool." Taylor squinted at him, his outward calm mystifying. "You're taking this a lot better than I imagined," she said. He shrugged, but like a bomb, he exploded. "Holy- You can teleport!" Taylor nodded once with the inevitable. "Yeah, that was more like what I was expecting." Taylor's life has been thrown into tailspin. Since discovering she could teleport six months ago she's been trying to juggle being a high school student by day, and a vigilante by night with failing results. Unable to stay awake in classes from her late nights, her grades are dropping fast, and to top it off her exhaustion has she left friendless. When saving late night employees from a burning building puts Taylor in the path of a dangerous criminal, she ends up in an altercation that forces her to realize she needs help. Help comes from two unlikely people: Clint and Dominic who bring their own complications. As the problems keep building, Taylor is quickly learning that having an ability doesn't mean she knows how to protect the city, let alone herself. "It was amazing!!! And really realistic for a superhero book, you even found an explanation for why she has her powers. It also shows that even though she has powers she still is human" - gui_iris "OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH ALL MY HEART" - _cooloreo_ "I laughed, I cried, I screamed out in frustration, but that's what makes this book so amazing, along with the amazing character growth and plot twists that still got me reeling to this day 😂" - Theaxbank "This is a delightful action packed read that'll keep you at the edge of your seat. Would recommend." Miathesmall

"For a place called Paradise City, this island sucks. I don't think a single day has gone by that I haven't thought about stabbing the shit out of myself," he said. "Especially since I'm forced to live with you every second of every day." "Sh. I'm trying to science," I said, not looking up from my binoculars. "See anything interesting?" "Not really. My vision's a little clouded from the fog and rain clouds you constantly emit." He laughed. "You never fail to amuse me, Rea." "But you just said-" "I just said you make me want to stab myself. Interpret that however you'd like." With a love for whales and all life (besides maybe humans), Reagan Winebrenner had never even seen an ocean until her senior year in high school. Some believe she could save the world with her rare healing magic, but she gave up on her powers long ago after failing to save her best friend. Her life changes when she receives a letter from her supposedly dead twin brother, Alaric, begging to be rescued from rival territory Leodia. It all went well being with my mate until my first mate came back, wanting nothing but to get me back. This angered my mate and now two strong wolves go against each other, all because of me. It was pure chaos, thus almost making two very close packs turn into enemies caused by the madness. But yet, I refuse to believe in second mates. They just can't possibly exist, it's just a big luck for us.
