No one gave it a second thought whenever Lance would go quiet when someone mention family or Earth or how Lance should just be quiet sometimes. No one noticed until Lance locked himself in his room, not coming out for anyone, screaming gibberish at anyone who'd try to get in. No one knew why, but Keith was determined to find out. Lance goes blind and the team needs to understand and not desown him. He is having many problems and Shiro a huge bitch. Lance is casted out by the team and is captured by Lotor. The longer Lance stays the more he talks to Lotor and figures out that Lotor isn't such a bad guy after all. The beginning isn't the best but once you read more it gets way better. !COMPLETED!

He closes himself off to everyone but Coran and the lions. He forces himself to look past his injuries and emotions so that everything is going to be fine. "So now I matter? Where was all of this before? I get hurt and now you act like I matter?" Maybe they should've said something before. "Why do I matter now?" This is a no-ship fic.

A mission gone wrong leaves Lance's vocal cords shot, and with the healing pods down, the only way to allow them to heal is time.
