it takes a lot to open up to someone, especially when your heart tells you not to. sometimes we just let go in the hopes of it being the right decision at first it's everything you've ever dreamed of. but then the reality kicks in the things that you were so afraid of happening, happen. you begin to regret everything every kiss, every "i love you" you're left with a thousand questions each one holds answers you will never receive and yes, it's hard right now maybe it will be for a really long time a really, really long time. but in the midst of something you may feel was the worst decision of your life, it could lead you to making the best decisions for yourself. ✎ poetry | published on 17th June
