A living anthology of poems through darkness and light, highs and lows, experiments and discoveries, will and serendipity. Poetry that is musical, requiem or elegy, classic or hardstyle. These poems have seen me through the best and worst. Some of my happiest moments have turned into my darkest poems, and dark times have brought out my most uplifting verses. I don't know when this "living" anthology will become final, and I will move on to my next work. Perhaps it will live on as my next work takes flight. Meanwhile and regardless, enjoy.

"But if that accident is inevitable," I murmur, eyes softening. "Would you want me to let go?" Jeongguk pauses for a moment. "Leave the guilt and regret to me," he replies softly. "Once you start a journey, you finish it. It's only right for you to let go because-" "Because you want me to be happy?" She cuts him off. He smiles. "That's right." Or: She met him at an ungodly hour when her life was falling apart. With a backpack full of snacks, a bucketlist, the clothes on their backs, a stolen car, and a hundred secrets, they make a little escape together. Even if it wouldn't last forever. "I've given this book a total of six re-reads, yet I can't help but bawl every single time. This story is as equal parts beautiful as it is heart-breaking." - sugakookie20O1 "I've read a lot of sad Jungkook fanfics but this one really put me into a bunch of tears and I think this book would always remain in my heart and I could wait a hundred and twenty-five years for a sequel." - jjungkookimnida "Being honest, I'm not a crier. I don't usually cry when reading books. But the plot twist and how you've written the book... I'm literally lost for words and I broke down sobbing." - Moonlightreadings1 I can't even begin to explain how many feelings this book has brought me. It's just one of the best things I've ever EVER read. It could honestly turn into a movie and it'll be one of the greatest movies of all time and honestly deserve an Oscar." - BtsTrash_12 ACHIEVEMENTS 1st place in BTS BT21 AWARDS 2018 3rd place & Best Book Cover in 21ST CENTURY BTS AWARDS 2nd place in SERENDIPITY AWARDS 2nd place in COFFEE K-FICS [COMPLETED] Story format in note form © whippednation 2017

Sandpaper is scratchy and rough, and when I thought about my poetry, I realized it's just that. It's rough, it's not the best you've ever seen, but doing this has helped polish not only my writing skills but my own self as well, just as sandpaper polishes wood. I wrote these poems from around 2014 until 2022. Each reader will take something different out of each piece, whether for the better or worse. This book as a whole is not me entirely, but these poems are small glimpses of my thoughts and experiences over the course of many years. I could've written a journal, or nonfiction, but I just always felt inclined towards poetry. I am an artist and a musician at heart, after all. But even when the chords aren't played or the songs aren't sung, the passion will always live on.
