Imani Riley Williams is a young and sheltered African American girl. She applies to a foreign exchange student program at her high school and finally gets to live one of her dreams, to study abroad in Japan. Now, she is thrust into a chaotic world of high school drama and she has no idea how to handle it all. She meets a spoiled and obnoxious, wealthy, male student, whose life, as it turns out, is not as glamorous as she thought. Can she be the light in this boy's life? A/N: I just came up with plenty of other ideas for this story that would involve me re writing it. I will do that and lots of editing once I am done with this story.
