In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth. And from the beginning, she knew rebellion was coming. A nasty rebellion that would set everything that came after into motion. It would be unavoidable, and affect every one of her new creations. The last thing the Principality Aziraphale wanted was to fight. In the war ahead, he would have a lot in the balance. His home, his friends, his kin, everything that is familiar to him could be lost, just like that. In the changing climate in Heaven, the fallen angel now known as the demon Crowley could very well end up loosing everything simply for asking questions. Now he must ask himself what lengths he's willing to go for, and what he's willing to loose to stand up for what he believes in. ((Based off a tumblr AU by @wartimelover))

Aziraphale would forgive him, of course. He always did. That had always been the Hell of it. It had been stupid to think things would be any different this time. It was a game they had been playing a long, long time, and he was all kinds of fool and idiot if he was going to suddenly start taking it seriously, even if only a few days ago he had thought Aziraphale was dead. Our side. It would be nice, really nice, if there was an *our side.* To be honest with himself, there was nothing in all the universe he wanted more. "I'll pick you up at eight," he repeated to the closed door, and headed back to the flat to take it out on the plants.
