The Avengers don't know that Steve does therapy.
He goes on Thursdays. He finally gets to open up about everything his teammates wouldn't understand- the war, waking up, and then suddenly becoming part of this group.
But one day, he arrives early and meets a girl in the waiting room. She's shy at first, an awkward sixteen-year-old with off-the-charts anxiety. However, Steve finds himself slipping into conversation, and starts coming earlier, just to talk to her. Overtime, she opens up, more to him than her therapist. Steve even gives her his number.
But then he wakes up to eight missed calls and a frantic flow of text messages.
