A pesar de su forma de ser, Gin cuida del niño hasta determinado tiempo, luego se separan durante varios años. Ninguno recuerda al otro. Luego suceden cosas similares a lo que pasa en el ánime. ¿Recordará Gin a Shinichi? ¿Sabrá él que es a Shinichi a quien le administró el Apotoxin? ¿Podrá el joven detective volver a ser el de antes, con su verdadero cuerpo de adolescente?
