After a freak explosion devastated the City of Los Angeles and left thousands for dead, the chaos that many had hoped to end with the settling of the mushroom cloud only gave rise to a different kind of chaos, but one that would only be realized after many years of so-called peace. 30 years later, after the City had regained its foothold from that catastrophe and made leaps into the technological era, the cities blood soaked past resurfaces. As LA becomes a haven for the paranormal and the mysterious, it is down to one man to make things right.

In the far future, a strange thing had happened. A total of one hundred people have been locked up in a mysterious city, ranked like animals and left to fight each other to the death. The top of these 100 is titled the 'Shogun'. The general reason they fight is due to just one rumor: The shogun can escape this city. All the tools they have are a hilt and the ability to produce a weapon out of it with unknown energy.
