The Ancients have compiled as list of diary entries that they shall use to reveal some truths and lies that certain nations have shrouded themselves with. This story is slightly AU and shall have more of a focus on the North American twins although other characters will have their own time to shine. America is the world's number one superpower. We all know that. And to be a superpower, you gotta have a strong mindset. A really strong mindset. Alfred does have that but..... with all the verbal abuse he goes through on a daily basis..... It's hard.... and each insults unravels his strong mindset a bit. Just a little. It happened to be a normal G8 meeting as always. Some fights here and there and nothing much getting done, as usual, for the personified nations. But, then, America gets an idea. "Oh, how about we go to this haunted house, dudes?" In which, somehow they agree and follow America to a abandoned house out on the outskirts of New York. It was a normal nation meeting. They held one annually at least 3 times a year. However, this meeting ended up turning the world on their heads. Their parents, the ancients, who have long since passed on cannot stand to watch their children suffer. With this a plan is formed to help, even if only just a little. A messenger from the ancients arrive with a book and wishes of happiness for the nations. They're stuck with no way out, in a space where time is separated from reality. They only have one way to leave, and that is to read. Through this book the true personality of the nations shine through.
