The only escape she has from her past, depression, and suicidal thoughts is the guitar in the art and music therapy room which she loves with her entire heart and soul. Music has always been an escape for Lexa, but here it is her lifeline. When My Chemical Romance do a surprise performance at that very hospital, Frank hears Alexa playing one of their songs. He feels a pull to get to know her, but when he does, he doesn't want to leave her behind.
