Talking is one of the most important things in clan life. You express your feelings with it, share stories, communicate with friends, and a million other things. Imagine if talking, one of the easiest and thoughtless abilities to do, was impaired? Snufflepaw is an apprentice in Rainclan, and she has a debilitating stutter. It makes it even worse as she's one of the leader's kits, adding more pressure on her. For talking, words physically can't come out. So many things she wants to say are just stuck inside her head, not able to come out. Her words sound bumpy, she repeats things, but she literally can't help it. And it doesn't help with how the entire clan treats her because of it. They restrict her voice, backhanded positivity, impatience, mockery, and see her as embarrassing. The discrimination and teasing she has to endure everyday is a lot. And after something goes wrong during her apprentice ceremony, suspicions start to rise. And it only gets worse after a tragic accident, one she just happened to be involved in. The mental drain and emotion toll it takes on her is heavy. But will she be able to beat her clanmates views of her and be her better self, or will her own home turn into a living nightmare?

Out of her insanity Bluestar has injured and exiled Fireheart. Furious Sandstorm left with him and now want nothing to do with the forest clans and decide to leave. Darkpaw is now alone in IceClan, his only friend being the medicine cat apprentice Redpaw. He's desperate to find his sister, but he is torn between being a good warrior and being a good brother. Larkpaw is trapped, unable to escape her captors under the fear that they will harm the stolen IceClan kits. All she wants is to return home to Darkpaw, but StarClan seems to have other plans for her. Redpaw has been medicine cat apprentice for moons now, growing tired of doing chores and wants to live up to her true potential as a medicine cat. Her heart is torn between duty and love which StarClan begins to test. What do these rogues want? Will Larkpaw get home and at what cost?
