Mein Name ist Genevieve Parker, ich bin 18 Jahre alt und habe mich vor 2 Jahren gegen meine eigentliche Fraktion, die Candor entschieden und wurde ein Teil der Ferox. Richtig, ich gehöre zu diesen Lebensmüden Idioten welche Wände ungesichert hochkrabbeln und alle anderen Fraktionen beschützen. Wobei, da ist mir doch tatsächlich gerade ein Fehler unterlaufen. Oh Shit, ich habe mich eindeutig noch immer nicht daran gewöhnt. Bei meiner Fraktion bin ich unter dem Namen Jen Coulter bekannt. Richtig gelesen, ich bin mit dem aktuell obersten Ferox Anführer, seit knapp 4 Wochen verheiratet. Sein Vorgänger Max, starb bei einem Angriff der Fraktionslosen aber dazu komme ich später noch. Am besten wir fangen ganz am Anfang an, denn wir wollen ja niemanden verwirren. Nicht wahr?

Seit ich denken konnte existierte das Fraktionssystem der 5 Fraktionen: Die Ken, Die Altruan, Die Ferrox, Die Candor und die Amitee. Diese fünf Fraktionen sorgten für Frieden und Ordnung. Mein Name ist Elena, ich bin 18 Jahre und lebe mit meiner Schwester Tris Prior, meinem Bruder Caleb Prior und meinen beiden Eltern in der Fraktion der Altruan. Der Tag der Bestimmung rückt immer näher und ich werde mich entscheiden müssen, welche der 5 Fraktionen ich in der Zukunft angehören möchte. Ich träume schon seit meiner Kindheit der Fraktion der Ferrox beizutreten. Doch was würde mir der Eignungstest zeigen? In welche Fraktion gehöre ich und was erwartet mich dort?
