Bakugou Katsuki x reader fanfic. I dreamt the theme of this and I thought It'd be cool to write abt it. I'm not very fluent in this language but I try ;-;. Also, since this is Katsuki, there will be violent swearing. You know.. the usual Katsuki Bakagou. So anyway, it's about you [the reader] and your difficult life alone. Your parents have died in a terrible accident when you were at a very young age and you were taken in by the military. They were a horrible mess... You feel as if you don't have a purpose in this cruel world, but one day a newspaper reaches your doorstep, written about the famous high school U.A. You decide to give it a try and meet this... boy named Katsuki Bakugou. Please enjoy the story and don't be afraid to comment on what I should maybe do next or maybe some mistakes that I made! Sometime after the Trials All Might had set up for the students Bakugou began acting a bit strange. Is it a change of heart, or is there something more to it? Something more... sinister? Slight profanity because of Bakugou. The sequel is up!

"Nope, that's not it," I say, popping the 'P.' Everyone turns to me, and all eyes are on me in an instant. I practically wilt a bit under their gazes. "Then, why do you want to become a hero, (Y/n)~chan?" Kirishima asks me, eyes sparkling curiously. I let out a soft laugh, almost silent, before I answer. "I don't really care about the fame, and glory, and fortune, and all that. And I'm not really looking to prove myself to anyone, either." A pair of crimson eyes meet my own and stare for a minute, before tearing themselves away, underlined by a slight pink blush. "I want to become a hero to save people, to show people that, in dark times, sometimes a single candle can light up an entire room. I want to protect those who can't protect themselves. People get kidnapped, raped, and murdered in alleyways by busy streets, but nobody bats an eye, no one even notices a thing. They may hear a scream, but with the Symbol of Peace looking out for them, they just stay optimistic. 'Oh, it's just some kids playing games with their quirks. We've got nothing to fear!'" A single tear silently forms in my eye before making its way down my cheek. A couple gasps and some shocked chatter fills the room. I look down, and my voice sounds, barely above a whisper. "I don't want anyone to go through the same things that I did. That's why I'll become a hero." Warning: May include triggering events and includes a huge amount of swearing.
