I say this as a precaution, in case you wouldn't like to read stress related stuff. (I mean like, MAYBE theres someone who like to avoid it..?🤷‍♀️ idk.)* ACTUAL SUMMARY: Adrien is bound to have a lonely Thanksgiving. So in an attempt to spare himself some embarrassment, and to hopefully prevent his friends from worrying, he covers up his problem with a lie.

{Original Story} When Peter Maguire saves a man from falling off his roof, he didn't plan for that guy to be a criminal, and he certainly didn't plan to get injected with an experimental -- and stolen -- serum that gives him superpowers. What a day. Now, with the help of the people who made his new abilities a possibility, he has to learn how to become the superhero the city needs, all while studying for tests and doing his homework. {First in a duology but can be read as a standalone}

Heroes. Ever since they showed up, people have gone soft. They're adored, worshipped. Devotion is showered upon them like rain. It's about time someone knocks them off that pedestal they stand on, someone to crush their pillars of faith. Someone like me. A villain. It's perfect. I'll be the undoing of heroes. ≠ disclaimer: very much needs to be edited, very much needs to be less corny and very much needs to be entirely rewritten by me. if you approach it as a goofy, corny, old 2015-esque superhero book then it'll be a great time. i'll be honest and say there are no pulitzers here. completed ✓ highest rank in sf: #9 cover: @narwhelly

Villains. Heroes. Try as they might, one is always bested by the other, an endless fight without true meaning. We all have to pick our sides, but I think it's outdated. We all need to toe the line - to really satisfy our purpose. That's where I come in. Not only the undoing of villains, but the remaking of heroes. It's time for everyone to welcome a new chess piece on the board. Check mate. ≄ completed ✓ standalone highest rank in sf: #180 cover: @narwhelly

Aden Dashner is thinking that he just might have superpowers. After an accident a week ago, he now seems to be stronger than he was before - like, superhuman strong. And after finding out that Oliver Storm himself is DC's own savior in spandex, White Lightning, and that he wants Aden to be his sidekick, Aden didn't think his life could get any weirder. Not to mention that Oliver is dealing with his own problems. His best friend/super conspiracy theorist, Ian Thompson is getting suspicious of Oliver. Could he know his secret identity? On top of that, his girlfriend, Elise Howerton, has just seemed to figure out said secret identity. And the infamous villain, Andromeda, has finally seemed to have disappeared from Oliver's life. Well, that is until she decides to get close to one of Oliver's friends. What could this notorious villain want with Mary Thompson?

Oliver Storm is just your average American teenager. Well, unless you count the fact that he's actually White Lightning, sidekick to the notorious superhero Captain Impossible. But after a faulty save that leaves Captain Impossible dead, Oliver is left to be his city's savior in spandex. And following in the footsteps of Washington DC's favorite super isn't as easy as you'd think, especially when the culprit behind his death is closer than he thought. With Oliver starting his junior year in high school, things become more complicated. Trying to balance saving the world and school can be hard enough, but throw in his overprotective mother and a villain by the name of Delinquent who Oliver can't shake, being a hero by day is going to be impossible. As Oliver starts to unravel the truth behind Captain Impossible's death, he finds that maybe not all villains are bad. And maybe Delinquent and Oliver have more in common than they thought. *companion novel to Damsel in Distress series*

[COMPLETED ~ TO BE PUBLISHED... eventually] Sunray was the light, lonely and shining. She was a beacon of hope to the public, but quiet in her own life. To everyone else, anyway. Night was her shadow, sworn to protect her just as much as his home. He was a quiet one, to everyone else, anyway. He was the hero who would rather battle a giant than talk to strangers. They would do anything for each other, even without knowing the real person behind the masks. They were best friends, secretly in love, who didn't know each other's real names. Until they accidentally met in real life, and couldn't figure out why it felt more like déjà vu than anything else . . . ------------------------------------------------------------------- In case the intro of Chapter 2 leaves you wondering, yes, there's a prequel. It's just not out yet. XD Possible TWs: Depression, direct mentions of suicide and PTSD, anxiety attacks, brief mention of drug addiction, death [starvation], violence (typically non-graphic) (Cover art by @Avichayil4 :D) Enjoy!
