The story took place in a different places, it begins from an alienated house in the village and it ends in the city. It is really revolves around a persistent old woman and two adopted sons Tom and John who became orphans after the lose of their father in a severe accident. Jeremy worked as a bookseller in a bookstore in the center of the city. therefore, he was married to a woman for along time, after they got divorced and let their younger sons suffering and torturing for many years in the village. Otherwise, the old woman who interfered as a protagonist when she adopted the two brothers and played the role of their parents, however she standed up aside them by bringing them up and taking care of them until they grown up and became matured, but at the end of this sad story the things have been changed and turned down, when the old woman died and let her adopted sons, who were later moved to the city and started a new life.
