Kuai Liang AKA Sub-Zero and killed King Kano after he was the one that made EarthRealm a living nightmare for those who were unfournate to get in his sick little world. With the help of his blind student and his unlikely ally Hanzo Hasahi AKA Scorpion they destroyed King Kano's forces and end his rule once and for all With Kronika's Hour Glass which Kano used to make the world in his image Kuai Liang turned back time and reset Earthrealm to its natural state which no more revenants or wastelands. But he had leave due to his promise to Scorpion and that leaves him with intrusting Kenshi to protect Earthrealm, protect othe and rebuild the Lin Kuei on his own. And with that Kenshi walks forward into the new era with these goals in mind. Though....this era is not rid of parasites however as demons roam Eathrealm preying on its inhabits. After completing their goal of killing the great demon lord, Himmel had just one request for him: Watch and take care of Frieren. When the time comes to pass for the late hero, Melrose must muster up the courage to continue his promise as he embarks on a journey with Frieren so that she may get to speak with their dear friend once again. With many new obstacles to face and new friends discovered along the way, it's definitely going to be a very interesting journey for Melrose to endure.
