No one really understood how a chap as charming as James Potter would end up falling in love with Alexis Riddle, a renowned name in her own right, for being Lord Voldemort's little sister that is. But it also means for Sirius Black and Nixie Dover, that they can actually pick up their lives where they left off before the war and carry out their dream plans. No longer plagued by mistakes and events of the past, the couple decides to move forward with their lives and starts planning to have the family they had long wished for. However, the two are well aware that life never runs as smoothly as planned. With the possibility of loose ends not being as wrapped up as they thought, the wizarding world comes under a possible threat and members of the Order are summoned once more. Turning to the sea for over twelve years, Nixie prepares to spend the rest of her life among the merfolk community and her mother, until she hears a rumour through the seaweed. Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban. Determined to see if the rumours are true, Nixie ventures to the land once more only to find him but to also find the world on the brink of the Second Wizarding War. Terrified of what could occur during the second fight against the Dark Lord and his followers, Nixie is hesitant to join the fight. That is until she hears of the newest secret weapon that can not only help them win the war but stop the Dark Lord once and for all. With unfinished business to attend to with an old Hogwarts "friend" Nixie prepares herself for the final fight.
