What if there is more than meets the eye ? Fingers will be pointed and loyalties tested as Steve and Natasha's lives take various twists and turns leading up to Endgame. This work deals within the character dynamics , relationships , emotions and events happening within the five year time frame that we all would have loved to see explored in 'Avengers: Endgame' . It would have been interesting to see how 'Captain America' and 'Black Widow' romance.

This book takes place Age Of Ultron and The winter Soldier but the following movies Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame have not happened. This Book is an ALTERNATE ENDING meaning Endgame and Infinity War and Civil War will not even happen. Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff are the only ones who look like the endgame versions. The rest of the Avengers look like the Age of Ultron version of themselves. Mentions of Thanos are throughout the book because he will be a villain eventually, just with a different goal, infinity stone will be mentioned also. Steve and Natasha love story starts out pretty quick, well for Natasha's part anyways. It takes time for Steve to tell Natasha... hint hint! Steve Rogers tried to isolated himself from the rest of the Avengers and the world after what he did to Tony Stark, his friend and teammate. However, after he drops Bucky off in Wakanda where he'll be safe, Steve feels more alone than ever. Natasha Romanoff is on her own. Bruce Banner is still missing, Thor is off who-knows-where doing who-knows-what, and the Avengers are scattered. Nevertheless, she's perfectly okay with being alone. She always has been. Knowing that Steve is alone, however? It worries her. And when HYDRA is involved, being alone may not be an option. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This fanfiction takes place after Civil War and before Infinity War. A fix-it of sorts. Will be changing the events of Infinity War and Endgame but for the most part the stories will go unchanged save for the entire third act of Endgame - as awesome as that fight was I have others plans.

SPOILERS FOR ENDGAME!!! SWEARING!!! AUDALT CONTENT!!!!! Recently, I saw Avengers Endgame, and I loved it. It was emotionally traumatizing, but it was great. Anyway, I was a little disappointed at the fact that someone died, and as a romangers shipper, kinda sad that I didn't have my OTP end up together (I am very happy and believed that Steve got the ending he deserved and Natasha's death, albeit sad and untimely, I could think of no better way for her to go). But, if I could right the epilogue to the movie, I would, and here is how it would go....
