Ruby moves away from her home in America to start a fresh new life in England. She goes to a new school, not knowing where to go or anyone there. She makes friends but falls deeply in love with the popular boy Oliver Sykes. What will happen? "Do you really think it's that easy?" I ask, glaring up at him. He takes a step closer. "It's not going to work on me." He raises an eyebrow at me. "What's not going to work?" He asks, his voice barely above a whisper as he gently wraps an arm around my waist, caressing my cheek with the other. "I see exactly what you're doing, Oliver. I've seen you do it with every other girl. You sweet-talk them so they think you actually like them, and then you lower them into bed with you. Well guess what? I'm not falling for it." And with that, I walk out of the room, leaving him speechless.
