The first chance she gets, Corrine Whitman tries to escape from the man who abducted her. But when James catches her, she has to deal with his bizarre guilt trip. Doesn't she enjoy his company, the game nights, stimulating conversations? Doesn't she know how lucky she is to be taken by a caring man instead of a psycho? He tells her he can't live without her. He won't live without her. But Corrine has to get home to her father. So, she has a new tactic--earn James's trust and enjoy her new family--or at least pretend. If Corrine plays the game, she'll be given freedom to leave the house, just like other women she's met who were kidnapped. Corrine can't fathom how so many women and children are taken and live seemingly normal lives with their captors all across the country. But she can relate--she's one of them. Corrine plots the perfect escape. Yet, the more time she spends with James, the harder it is to leave. She knows she's suffering from Stockholm syndrome, but she is determined to save herself and the others. And if she escapes? Corrine knows no one has ever left alive-she has to be the first. What happens when one of the last freakshows comes to your town? Not only is it a grotesque event viewed for pleasure at a circus but one that harbors secrets and hidden evils behind the curtains. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. She never expected to be ripped from her life and forced into their society of freaks, struggling to keep their business. She wasn't and would never be a freak, especially ones that didn't know right morals from wrong ones. ___________________________________ THIS STORY CONTAINS GRAPHIC MATERIAL AND POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING CONTENT: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK (18+) I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS 14. "fuck me," said the monster. _______________________ A psychopath, a person with a mask of sanity. Someone who blends in. Unlike their sociopathic counterparts, psychopathic criminals are cool, calm, and meticulous; making psychopathy the most dangerous of all antisocial personality disorders. Though there's something about them, something emotionally intriguing and intellectually engaging that draws us in, making us apart of their sick mind games. Maybe that's why FBI agent, Ella Grant, can't get away from the misunderstood monster... _______________________ WARNING: GRAPHIC MATERIAL AND POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING CONTENT, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK (18+) note: inspired by hannibal i use poems and quotes; they belong to their rightful owners cover was made by Fracture :) the psychopath hides, a wolf amongst the sheep.

Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses. Her eyes sting, her lungs and nose burning. She thrashes, kicks, claws--anything to get away. Her efforts go to waste as her body slowly starts to shut down, the air in her lungs quickly being replaced by sea water. Cally is vaguely aware of arms wrapping around her waist and behind her head before she loses consciousness, submerged in darkness. And so she is taken. Another victim of the mysterious sea. 《Completed》 Subscribe to TheAllieL Patreon for exclusive stories and content not featured on Wattpad and to support future works and book publishing! - Free Subscriber Tier - Allie's Library - Tier 1 - $2/month - Allie's Journal - Tier 2 - $5/month Subscribe here: Patreon.com/TheAllieL

"If they aren't pretty when they are dead, then why bother keeping the bodies in my cemetery? Just burn them. Burn all of them, and give me the charming ones." I laughed at how psychotic he sounded; or even how psychotic he was."You're young, why do you even own your own cemetery? That can't even be legal." "Why bother concerning yourself over my affairs? This cemetery-" he quickly corrected himself, "My cemetery is the most luxurious and ravishing of them all." He bent down, and began to whisper in my ear, "And I know, that you, my lamb, understand my funeral style, don't you?"

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine. - Anthony J. D'Angelo Life has never been easy or simple for Ellie. She was born deformed, the outcast of her pack, abused and shunned. She spends her life running from the negativity and the darkness, trying to find her happiness. All she wants is peace and joy, but what is she supposed to do when rejection, sorrow and frustration is all she ever seems to be capable of finding? Maybe not everyone deserves to be happy, but where did she go wrong? What could she have possibly done to deserve such torture? This story is only half edited and kind of a mess in my opinion! There will be plot-holes and mistakes! If you see any feel free to point them out and I'll fix it up during editing. This was my first ever story so it needs some help lol Just a few of my favorite comments: Loved it? It turned into my life!!! Ellie's stab made me feel pain in my chest as well. You weren't kidding when you said the story wasn't that predictable. Honestly, whenever a new twist came, I'd say it was familiar(because the sudden situation Ellie would find herself into is) but it still caught me very much off guard nonetheless. You had a knack for making me invested in one paragraph therefore surprising me in the next. I loved that. the thrill, the suspense, the shock and pain. And because you made it first person pov, the reader could relate or maybe even see themselves in Ellie's life. I am looking forward for the sequel. I'm proud to say i read this book and was here before it became 1M+ reads. 100/10 score👏 you[author] deserve it. This needs to be read by many. - @JRDRRS WHAT. A. PLOT. TWIST. fricken genius - @xsapphira 😭😭😭8 literally cried and sobbed I don't think I have ever done that before in a book its always just silent tears...... This book is truly amazing - @daedalian9 You sure know how to keep someone hooked. It was a crazy ride.- @Inumidun700
