Oliver sat alone at lunch. He only had one friend, some kid he hadn't talked to since 4th grade book club. He didn't mind his lack of friends. He liked being alone. He spent his days reading the same book, over and over. Daisy was beautiful. Football captain's girlfriend. Popular. Flawless. Daisy and Oliver hadn't even glanced at each other since 5th grade. But shortly after Daisy's sweet sixteen, when Daisy discovers she needs Oliver now, more than ever.

Remember Phil from High school? That kid with Black hair, blue eyes? The one who sat quietly at the back of the room, handed homework in on time and ate by himself? Yes. I remember him. And little did I know, he would mean as much to me as he does now. Little did I know, my future would be spent with him. .

Phil: a loser, continuously beaten and picked on by the other guys at school. Dan: popular, arrogant, and confused. What happens when the two collide? Just like me is a story of trust, love and secrets (Ok I'm making this sound like a bad tv drama, just read the fic please, I broke my thumbs writing it. *WARNING* self harm, suicidal thoughts, explicit language, slight anorexia. It's an angst fic so y'know, the average...also smut, so look forward that kids hey hey ;)

Phil doesn't talks. Well, not anymore. The last time he said something, was when he didn't hate himself. And that was a long time ago. But now, everything is different. He must struggle with depression, whilst new boy Dan Howell desperately attempts to win him over. [Warning: this could be triggering at some points]

After five years of not talking to each other, they're partnered in a project and Phil's wants to win Dan over just like he has with most of their year. But yet, Dan is determined to find out what Phil is hiding behind his arrogant mask.
