Percy would have appreciated a warning of some sort. Maybe: You Are Approaching The Stygian Swamps, Turn Back Now. Something to warn demigods away from the place where murderers are punished - finding the Titan was not planned. But, Percy supposes it could be worse. If it weren't for Bob, he'd be left in eternal torment for eternity. And Percy wouldn't have gained a new friend.

At the age of sixteen, everyone presents as Alpha, Beta or Omega. Percy was always expected to be a leader - as a child of Poseidon he was unlikely to be anything else - so it wasn't a surprise for him when he turned out as an alpha. He doesn't think much about what's expected of him, until he's almost buried alive with an omega. The gods can hardly blame him for what happens after. Of course, his intended omega will not make it easy for him - there's also the question of his very territorial brothers. Then again, asking Kronos to roll over and play nice would be like asking a dolphin to walk on land - and Percy wouldn't have him any other way.

Tartarus is gone, killed by Nico. While Percy has returned Kronos' soul to the Titan, it's most certainly not over yet. The gods aren't willing to allow the Titans to regain themselves, and with Kronos as a bargaining chip the Titans aren't willing to risk anything. But as Percy soon realises, Tartarus' plan to kill all other Primordials wasn't a success.

The past month has been hard. Erebus still on the loose, the war between Othrys and Olympus continuing, spies watching everyone's movements, it's hard to know who to trust. With Percy's absence, Kronos becomes the monster he was before, and Olympus are struggling to gain momentum as he thwarts their every plan.
