Sequel to When Darkness Falls There wasn't much Athelia remembered before the battle on Svartalfheim, and if it hadn't been for Thor finding her wondering through the Nevada Desert, she might not have ever even remembered her own name - let alone the fact that the golden-haired God of Thunder was her husband. It had been three years since she had defeated Malekith, and despite all the good she has done helping The Avengers bring peace to Midgard, she couldn't help but feel like a piece of her was missing. A piece so dark, she could never bring herself to ask. She had managed to push the doubts that lingered away for as long as she could, but when a mission to bind her powers go awry, she realizes she was indeed meant for more than taking orders from a man in an iron suit - and the life she had built with Thor and her new friends was nothing more than a desperate attempt to keep her from destroying yet another world.

Zania Faytum has fallen down into Asgard, She is the princess and also the Goddess of Fire. She is also the last Faddist. Her home has been attacked by Leviathans. As Odin, Frigga, and Thor take care of her, she starts to also notices the mysterious Loki. The longer she stays in hiding in Asgard from the Leviathans, the more closer she gets to Loki. Loki and Zania are opposite people but with the same problem. As they slowly fall in love with each other, more problems occur. She struggles with Leviathans, loving Loki, and saving herself.
