When Katara's tribe goes through a food shortage, Katara takes it upon herself to make sure they survive. She agrees to enter a competition where the young Prince Zuko will choose a wife out of 35 women. But then a boy comes to the village--a boy who carries himself like a man. He's different from anyone Kara's ever seen before, and he seems to know her, he seems to understand her in a way no one else has.
