I only own Connor and the plot, the rest is owned by Stephanie Meyer. When Heidi brings in a new tour group for the Volturi, Jane spots her next victim and goes for the kill. But for some reason Jane can't bring herself to kill this boy and Marcus concludes that he is Jane's bloodsinger. The boy, named Connor, tries to figure out why Jane won't kill him if she doesn't want him there and prepares for his oncoming fate to become a vampire while Jane denies that there is another important boy in her life besides Alec. Jane has handled a lot in her years of existence, but nothing has prepared her for the one thing that wasn't supposed to happen to her.
