My name is Janna. I am a tempora. A slave. I once heard that a long time ago, people were put into slavery because of their race. Then it became illegal to own a person. Not anymore. It all changed after the Imorta revolution. Scientists changed the human genes, manipulated them. Now humans can't die. They live forever. But I'm not a human. I've only heard stories of temporos, but I've never seen any before. My master only owns girls. The humans say that since our life is so short, it doesn't matter what happens to us. That's what they tell themselves. We are their slaves, their entertainment, their pets. We are their toys that they can treat however they want. Until we die.
