Lily Jones and Jaime Preciado; a match made in heaven, right? Well, somewhat. The only problem? Lily isn't who she says she is. Her brother is famous in the punk-rock community, and Jaime doesn't know it. Her last name isn't Jones. She's actually met Jaime before, and he doesn't remember it. She doesn't live in Florida. The only true things that she's told him are her name, age, that she has a brother, and that she's a big fan of the band Jaime's in. Will Lily finally let the truth come out, or will she hide behind all of the lies she's managed to built to shave her own heart from breaking?

Twenty-four year old Lily Jones finally gets to talk to Jaime Preciado, the bassist of Pierce the Veil, over the phone instead of on paper. She gets to learn more about Jaime as she talks to him over the course of a year. Through all of the ups and downs of their lives, Lily and Jaime are brought closer together than ever, even though they’ve never met in person. After all of the break ups, tour dates, awkward moment and confessions, will they stick together through it all? When it comes to seventeen-year-olds Aurora “Rory” West and Kale Mathews, there is no such thing as the concept of ‘common ground.’ Their interactions (the few that they have) are always filled with overly-sarcastic remarks and countless number of trips to the principal’s office. One day, when a particular interaction goes a bit too far, their principal decides to punish them with The Baby Project- a month long project, worth more than half their grade, that requires them to parent a fake baby. In the beginning, the partnership is discarded as a joke by both students. However, when threatened with the possibility of expulsion, Rory and Kale reluctantly agree to make peace for the sake of their education.
