"Hello little girl what are you doing out in the street... all alone." A greasy looking stranger mutters as I walk by. He makes the mistake of grabbing my arm. "If I were you I would let go while you still can..." I warn the stranger but of course, he ignores me and pulls me closer to him. I have had enough, as I feel slight fear rush through my veins, so I push him back with a forceful wind. "I warned you," I say but then the idiot stands back up. Some people just don't know when to stay down. I summon lightning and make it strike the ground a couple inches to the right of where he is standing. He stumbles back so I use the wind to tangle him in the mossy vine-things on the fence behind him."W-who are y-you!" He stutters fearfully. "Me? Why I'm the controller of thunder and lightning, the wind and rain. I make tsunamis roll and tornados blow. I make the mists rise and the storms rage, you see... they call me... Hurricane." I reply mysteriously before creating a thick, misty fog and making my escape. The full prologue is in the book, please read :)

Since the time she was a young girl, Éponine Rosier has learned the importance of marrying a respectable pureblood and not trusted to make the decision on her own, she finds herself arranged in a marriage with a boy she hardly knows. Throughout her childhood, she's had very limited interactions with the boy by the name of Regulus Black, despite being in the same year and the same House as him. Éponine is the type of person that enjoys the quiet company of herself, filling her time with reading or horseback riding on her family's land and Regulus has been known to never go out of his way to be social. Fearful that the marriage will later on result in nothing but failure, the parents of the teens decide to force the interaction between the two. Éponine finds herself at Twelve Grimmauld Place the summer before she is to start her fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, away from her family and home. Initially, their introduction is awkward, full of long bouts of silence and the avoidance of eye contact. They are nothing more than strangers. Yet, as time passes, words are exchanged, memories are created and shared. A love emerges between the two that was meant to be unbreakable. A love story meant for the books to be passed along for generations, however, it takes a tragic turn as the young lives are forced to face the darkness that wants to consume them whole. Adrianna Elwyn. Hufflepuff. Empath. Origami master. For years people wondered where they came from, whether it be a tiny paper rhino poking their ankle during potions, an adorable folded dragon flying around the greenhouse during Herbology or even a swarm of paper planes interrupting quidditch practice. Most assumed the origami army was just another one of Hogwarts quirks, but some knew different. Friends of Adrianna Elwyn knew how she enjoyed the art of paper folding, with many of her creations wondering around the Hufflepuff Common Room. Over the years Adrianna struggles to control her abilities as an Empath, being able to perceive other's emotions makes her an incredibly understanding person but it can also be intensely overwhelming. On the other hand, Oliver Wood never seem to realise how unenthusiastic the rest of his quidditch team was during one of his pep talks. He had a single-minded determination to win, and to do that he knew he needed to practice. The problem being the increased number of paper hummingbirds and butterflies and other distracting flying creatures that seemed to have taken to fluttering around the quidditch pitch during their practice. He also certainly didn't appreciate the little band of Hufflepuffs that showed up to watch them.
