Kali gets plane tickets to Africa and invites her friends to come with her. Along with Jacob who's suppose to be keeping them out of trouble. But when the group of little adventurers wander away from the tour bus, they discover a place called the Pride Lands where they meet a young lion cub named Simba who's destined to become the next lion king. But a shadow lies over the kingdom as Simba's evil uncle Scar has other plans.
