Time is a fickle thing. Especially when you're stuck in a loop of the last month of your life. In "Endless Echoes," Peyton Cross is a reserved high school senior eager to escape her small town of Salcom, Arizona, and finally pursue her dreams. But everything changes when a troubled loner from down the street opens fire in her school. Caught in the chaos, Peyton's life is cut short, and instead of moving on, she finds herself thrust back thirty days before her tragic death. Now, Peyton is trapped in a relentless cycle, reliving the same month over and over. Each loop forces her to confront not only the impending tragedy but also her own fears and regrets. As she desperately tries to alter the course of events, she learns more about her classmates and the hidden struggles they face. With every attempt to change her fate, Peyton grapples with the weight of her knowledge and the realization that she must find the strength to break free from this endless cycle. Can she save herself and her friends before it's too late, or is she doomed to relive her worst nightmare forever? "Endless Echoes" is a poignant tale of resilience, hope, and the power of connection in the face of tragedy.

As time runs out, they must unlock the secrets of the prophecy to discover whether the golden child holds the key to their salvation or is simply a fading legend. Amidst ceaseless battles and heart-wrenching sacrifices, the fate of their race hangs precariously in the balance. ____________________________________ A cross between sci-fi, fantasy, and romance. Awaking The Sun is considered Mature, as there is crude language, gore, and sometimes a little bit of physical romance.

✨ FEATURED on WattpadPotterverse 🪄 This story now has assistive text-to-speech 🗣️ so you can listen to each chapter ✨ ❝I solemnly swear that I am up to no good...❞ Margaret Adelaide Xenakis had a pretty normal life until the age of 14. And then she got struck by lightning. As if nature's unnecessary assault was not enough, it leaves her with 'voodoo stuff' instead - powers of telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, and whatnot. Now at 16, trying to deal with the loss of her twin brother while suppressing her destructive powers, the struggling teen has much on her platter already. When she gets struck by lightning once again and wakes up in an unfamiliar place surrounded by way too many redheads, a bushy-haired girl and a bespectacled boy with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead... Let's just say Margaret's life might've gotten weirder than she could have ever imagined. Reading the Harry Potter books had been just a hobby. But suddenly, Margaret is burdened with the weight of knowing the future. She has to not only weave her way through the Wizarding World and fight in a war she had believed was fictional, but also save everyone who did not deserve to die in the crossfire. Talk about tough luck. ~ Warning: probably contains plot boo-boos like the inclusion of the movie storyline :) This is NOT an OC X Harry Potter story. {Original Story} Vidya Khan is an anomaly. Her powers manifest when she's seventeen -- that's unnaturally late. Things get even weirder when Celestro, the enigmatic company responsible for all things super, offers her a spot on their elite hero team. Saving the world is complicated, and Vidya is struggling to keep up. The Marvels are not the same smiling, golden heroes they are in the media, and getting along with them is actually harder than fighting the villains. And as if that isn't bad enough, supers are turning up dead, and no one knows who to suspect... Because if Vidya has learned anything, it's that anyone can be the bad guy.

|WATTYS 2022 WINNER - HORROR| Shawn, a convicted criminal, never thought she'd see the sun again, let alone call another star system her home. When she's offered an out from her prison sentence, she embarks on a dangerous interstellar expedition along with 18 of Earth's most intelligent criminals. Their task is to set up a base on a supposedly habitable planet and prepare it for colonization. Although the planet has liquid water and a breathable atmosphere, it is believed to host only microbial life. However, upon arriving, Shawn and the rest of the colonists learn that assumption was grossly incorrect. In a brutal attack from rampaging wildlife, everyone but Shawn and four other colonists are killed. The five survivors retreat to the cavernous network beneath the ground seeking safety, but they soon come to a terrible discovery. These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface. [][][] This was originally my entry for the 2021 Open Novella Contest, and it received an honorable mention! It has now been expanded into a full length novel. I used prompt number 53: "When wildlife starts rampaging, all the humans are forced underground. However, they come to a terrible discovery that being underground is no safer than being on the surface."
