The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began. In this story you are a Painite. The rarest gem and I recall hasn't been in the show. You are sent to Earth to find Peridot and Jasper along with the Rubies that Yellow Diamond sent. But instead you discovered the beauty of Earth and understand why Rose loved Earth in the first place. How do you think will things turn out for the protagonist?

You were a shadow kept behind a looking glass for only White Diamond's eyes to see. She sheltered you for your own good, as you were a gem of a darker shade. No, you were not a corrupt gem - not in the slightest. Though, your people on Homeworld considered you to be nothing but a myth - a Diamond covered in a shade of darkness. You were Black Diamond, an isolated gem that was never known to see the other bright and colourful gems that flourished on your planet. Was White keeping you hidden to prevent you from being rejected, or were you just needed to be kept under her shadow - composed of an overprotective cage? Everything would begin to change when you found yourself on Planet Earth and in the eyes of Crystal Gems. Can a gem that doesn't glitter so bright find acceptance. . . Or maybe love?
