In de achterbuurten van de hoofdstad van een groot rijk sluipt een moordenaar rond. Op een dag wordt ze gevraagd om een belangrijke man te vermoorden in het koninklijk paleis. Door op de opdracht in te gaan wordt ze verder verwikkeld in het hof dan ze eigenlijk had gewild en als haar oudste vriend haar verraad kan ze geen kant meer op. Het verhaal is ook gepubliceerd in het Engels! Dat zal wat langzamer gaan, omdat ik alles vertaal, maar ook door ga met schrijven in het Nederlands.
