*previously called Living Situations Jennie has always been on her own. She stays out of drama, keeps to herself, and hates trouble. Specifically, she hates soft-haired, annoyingly charming, gray-eyed Italian trouble named Nico Accardi. Since the end of their childhood friendship, Jennie has had little to nothing to do with him but after a series of unfortunate events resulting in him getting kicked out of the house and breaking into hers, Nico offers her a deal she can't refuse: a revenge makeover in exchange for a place to stay. Suddenly, the boy she thought was out of her life forever is sleeping in her bedroom, unraveling memories she thought she kept locked and hidden away. And maybe, the mischievous boy next door has his fair share of secrets too. But as they spend more time together, Jennie can't help but notice how this living situation is starting to feel like a home.

In a town where the high school football team rules the school, Amelia is just another face in the crowd. Sure, her dad is the football coach but Amelia's idea of "Friday night lights" revolves around studying until lights are out. Trying to impress her father who only knows football and her mother's high expectations, Amelia puts her head down and tries her best to satisfy them. After accidentally ending up at a party one night (without her mother's permission of course), Amelia finds herself thrown into the world of the infuriatingly gorgeous yet arrogant Zack Darrington. Zack was never part of a crowd. He's king of the city: the best running back in the state- if not the entire country. Flirtatious, cocky, and a skilled player in all senses, Amelia is not the type of girl he typically surrounds himself with. Everyone knows Zack Darrington. No one knows Amelia Hayes. Football is his world while she wishes it wasn't a part of hers. At first glance, these two couldn't be more different but deep down, they may be more similar than they think. "Follow me," he said gruffly. "But I- ," I stopped when I saw the dark look he gave me. Instead I just looked down and quietly followed him. Once we reached his office I walked inside and immediately shuttered at the draft. Promptly the door slammed shut causing me to jump and it followed by the clicking of the lock. I swallowed the lump down my throat, an ounce of fear trickling through me. "What did I say about running?" He asked in a low, husky voice. "No running," whispered back, not sure if he heard. "And, do you remember what I said would happen next time I caught you running?" He asked. I nodded, my heart thumping extremely loudly in my chest. "Excellent, now bend over the desk," he ordered.
