There was a girl Finn liked.
Shy, awkward, soft-spoken Finn.
The girl seemed to love books. And Finn did too.
He had been working all summer at his Aunt's bookshop but has never found the courage or the right words to say to her, let alone the nerve to hand her the change for her purchased books across the counter without blushing like a fool.
But today might be different.
"This is the day I'll finally try to talk to her," he said to himself for the twenty-fifth time this summer.
