She is very close with each of the children, and, when of a certain age, begins to form a different kind of bond with Asher; this, though shortly lived, is tragically ruined when the second son is exiled to Essos for fraternising with the enemy, and Cynthia is left thinking she's lost her only chance with the man she loves. This story picks up where the game begins but soon follows my own designed path as oppose to Telltale's plot. After Gared returns home and is soon sent away again, and Ethan is announced Lord, Cynthia travels to the Wall with the Duncan Tuttle, only to discover something that will later persuade her course of action to land her on a boat to Essos, following her heart for the first time, and reuniting the Star Crossed pair.
